  A Hope Check is a Redeemable Pledge which allows the members to give at every offering they desire - even if they do not have any money at that time.

  Members simply fill out a Hope Check.  When they are able to redeem their pledge, they bring in the money and exchange it for their pledge.

Pledge:  Something held as security to guarantee fulfillment of an obligation. 
(Deuteronomy 24:6, 10-13, 17-18)

Prayer:  "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within   me."  Psalm 51:10 KJV

I.  A MARY SPIRIT

a.  Acknowledge that you need change.
i.  mind - will -  emotions
 
b.  Slow down and accept Christ's "better way."
i.    Busyness is not necessarily God's business.
ii.   Listen (to God's still, small voice)
iii.  Remain teachable (open-minded, open hearted, yielding, willing)

c.  Give God Access
i.   Hunger (thirst) for more

NOTE:  It IS possible to be so caught up in your own agenda - doing a "good thing" but not necessarily a "GOD" thing for the season of our 
           lives. 

   It is important to be sensitive to the Spirit of God - to remain in the perfect will of God.
